The Grow and Give Garden at Helen Amhurst Park in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania is a vibrant community garden dedicated to growing fresh produce, fostering learning, and strengthening neighborhood connections. Established as a local community effort, this garden provides individually tended plots where gardeners of all experience levels can grow fruits, vegetables, herbs, and flowers while contributing to a shared mission of community nourishment and stewardship.

The garden currently consists of multiple raised plant beds where volunteers and plot holders cultivate organic crops throughout the growing season. The Grow and Give Garden also serves as an educational space: youth groups and volunteers engage in hands-on gardening experiences that teach sustainable growing practices, soil care, and the joys of working with the earth. Participants are encouraged not only to grow for their own use but also to share surplus harvests with local food banks, pantries, and neighbors in need, reinforcing a spirit of generosity and mutual support in the Stroud region community.

The garden is open to seasonal plot reservations for residents of Stroudsburg Borough, East Stroudsburg Borough, and Stroud Township.

More information for the 2026 season coming soon.
