Mindfulness Walk

Meets at Pinebrook Park's north lot.

4070 N 5th St, East Stroudsburg, PA

This one-hour experience will help you learn mindfulness strategies for living in the moment, and refresh your mindset!

Our guide for the walk, Mary, teaches wellbeing through the Four Pillars of Contentment program at Dunmore High School. Designed by the Contentment Foundation, the four pillars of wellbeing are community, self-curiosity, balance, and mindfulness.

She will be focusing on mindfulness for our walk: a mental state achieved by focusing one's awareness on the present moment. Mindfulness is often used as a therapeutic technique which may offer stress relieving benefits, according to both early wisdom and recent psychological studies.
