What an incredible day for East Stroudsburg Borough!

The first annual Borough Beautification Day was a stellar success! We love to see what is possible when a community comes together and celebrates hometown pride.

Thank you to East Stroudsburg Borough for this new initiative, and to the borough manager and the outstanding public works team for their tireless support of the day. Thank you to the East Stroudsburg University football team for 95 impressively dedicated student athletes. Thank you to First Baptist Church East Stroudsburg for 30 volunteers to organize the day and cook up a delicious lunch (and boy can a college football team eat some hot dogs!). And thank you to our community volunteers.

We'll get some official stats from the borough soon, but truckloads of garbage were picked up from around town today. Residents in need got assistance in cleaning up their properties. And the playgrounds are mulched and ready for our kids to enjoy.
