Preschoolers seem to have a knack for getting dirty,why fight it? We're diving right into the squishy, splashy, mucky, and messy projects every child loves! These worthwhile activities embrace a preschooler's delight in tactile experiences of finger (and toe) painting, paper maché, play-dough, cupcake decorating, and more! All participants must come dressed for mess and with a smock (any of dad's old shirts will be fine).

Oodles & Doodles Session 2: Fridays, April 23-May 14 Register by April 16

Does your little one love to be creative with drawing and crafts? This program fosters those creative abilities with oodles of fun and simple art projects like: pillow case doggies and kitties, dino masks, springy flowers, placemats, and more! Participants love enjoying and showing off their "masterpieces" at home.
Start Smart Youth Soccer
Dates: Wednesdays, April 7-May 12 Register by March 19
Time: 5:00-6:00 pm
Fee: $65/child (includes participant manual, 1 Teslon soccer ball, 1 Kwik Goal (size 3) Soccer Ball, 1 set of Kwik Goal Shinguards, and 4 cones)
Location: Day Street Community Center
Start Smart prepares children ages 4-7 for organized soccer in a FUN, non-threatening environment. Skills including dribbling, kicking and passing, trapping and throw-ins and agility will be taught. Exercises become more difficult as the class progresses and children show improvement. Parents are required to attend and participate with their children.
Youth Tennis
Dates: Mondays, April 12-May 17 Register by April 2
Time: 4:15-5:00 pm (first time participants) 5:15-6:00 pm (returning participants)

Location: Stroudsburg Junior High School Tennis Courts
Children ages 5-6 focus on hand-eye coordination, racquet handling, and the game of tennis. Introductory skills are learned in a fun and positive environment!
Pocono Kids' Cultural Connection
The Pocono Kids' Cultural Connection?s primary focus is on the growth and development of the children in our programs. Our goal is to provide an affordable opportunity for parents to be able to expose their children to the "arts" in a safe, fun, nurturing environment. PKCC believes that all children have an innate ability to sing, dance, create, and imagine!
Making Music

Making Music is a ten week program designed for children 0 to 4 years old with a caregiver. The children explore music through musical instruments, silly songs, nursery rhymes, movement, puppets, and more! Come join us in a relaxed, fun, loving environment!
Spanish
Session 2: Thursdays, June 17-August 12

Time: 9:45-10:40 am (ages 3-5) 4:30-5:30 pm (ages 6-12)
Fee: $125 first child; $100 second child; $75 third child in the same family.
Location: Day Street Community Center.
Children are introduced to different cultures where the spoken language is Spanish and learn words and phrases. While being educated about Spanish countries and the ways of life, children gain a positive attitude for learning a second language.

Precision Music Lessons
Musical instruction inspires creativity, promotes self-discipline, and is valuable to both the mind and soul at any age. Piano is the easiest to learn to play and offers the best way to learn to read and understand music. Guitar is by far the most popular instrument, with good reason: it is easy, portable, versatile, and makes great music.

Summer private lessons offer the benefit of a direct one-on-one experience with the instructor resulting in maximum skill development. Weekly half-hour sessions available; due to the varying availability of the instructors, scheduling must be done at Precision Music; final registration and payment is through SROSRC. 
Group Lessons
Small group instruction (for beginners only) offers a great way to learn in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Participants learn the basics of music and gain a solid understanding of the instrument.
